.: Happy Halloween :.

Hi everyone...and Happy Halloween to all of you!

This week we were free to choose theme and material as we liked.

So I went for the obvious theme... Halloween! = )

But before I´m gonna show you my card....here´s this weeks sketch.

...and here´s my Halloween card...

I used a freebie from PollyCraftDesign and added a tiny little dragon from Lavinia Stamps. I coloured the image, and the sky, with my distressinkpads. But first I masked a little piece to get that moon and then stamped the dragon on top of the moon.
And I just looove the look of that "grass/hey" that is tucked underneath the image. It´s made of long shredded pieces of green paper and it´s really fun to work with! I´m sure you will see it a lot around here... ; )

Don´t forget to drop by 365 Cards to see the rest of the lovely dt samples!

I have another card to show you....
It´s one that I made for a dear friend, who just recently was blessed with a baby girl.
This card was meant to go with a little gift from some of the past dt´s over at Handarbeta. And as a kind of joke, we said we should try to keep it all in pink.... since our friend n e v e r use anything pink...she´s more in to black, grey and silver... ; )
So, here it goes... my pink babygirl card... with a dragon!

I used one of my spellbinder dies to cut out the hole in the front of the card. Then I took the root part of a large treestamp and stamped randomly on the front. Just a few added flowers and leaves and the front was ready.

Inside the card, I layered two girly-girl kind of papers before topping them with the dragon.
I kind of liked the dragon... perhaps it´s not the first and most obvious choice for a babygirl card, but knowing my friend, I think she´ll like it!
Girly and pink - yes! .... but in the same time kind of though!
Kerstin... hope you and sweet Ingrid liked it!

Ok... I have one last thing to show you.

It´s a small coffin that I made a couple of weeks ago. I been waiting for this day to show it... think it´s the proper day for a coffin, right?

I folded black Bazzill and then decorated it a litte by embossing the skulls and the edges with icy blue powder.
The dancing skeleton is from a set of stamps from Bombshell Stamps and the wings are from Tim Holtz. The wings are stamped upon OH-paper with Staz-on and then cut out.
And as for the skeleton... boy! Did I give myself some extra job there...! The next time, I get the brilliant idéa to cut out such detailed image by a scalpel, I hope someone reminds me of how much job it is before I get on to it! = )

Well... that will have to be all for now. Think I´m gonna join one of my daughters in the livingroom.... she´s watching a movie and I can grab a new book.
I just finished two books yesterday ( "Burned" by P.C and Kristin Cast and also "Beautiful Dead: Jonas" by Eden Maguire)
Actually... I have been quite busy reading the last couple of weeks. So I have now read all 7 of "The House Of Night"-serie and a few other books as well.
But, like I said before...I better grab that new book now.. while I still have time for it. = )

Happy Halloween to all of you!
~LOVE ~
