.: Sunday with Robyn´s Fetish :.

Weehooo!It´s a Robyn´s Fetish kind of Sunday...! Or, at least, that´s our sponsor for this week at 365 Cards. You have to check them out... some great looking digis and some awesome digipapers as well!

And it wouldn´t be right without a new wonderful sketch to play with... soo, here´s the one we got to play with. Love it! I have already tried it on a couple of cards... = )
But, the one I´m gonna show today, is the one I did using a lovely digi and 2 digipapers from our sponsor. Enjoy!

I have printed the plain orange and the pattern paper onto vintage white Bazzill cardstock. And the sweet little fairy is also printed on cardstock... Bazzill smooth.

Since I like to do my colouring with distressink, I have to print the image by laser. Otherwise it´s not possible to use waterbased ink, such as distressink... = )

And here´s another close-up, showing more of the digi-papers. First time I tried printing my own papers...I liked that I got texture on the pattern paper as a bonus.

.: Distresser + megamasker = lovely! :.

Hej, hej...!
Idag har jag förmånen att få inspirera på Scrapptorget....och då vill jag ju självklart passa på och dela med mig här med! = )
Eftersom, vi kör tema distresser denna månaden, så tänkte jag visa er hur roligt man kan ha med distresser och megamasker!

Megamaskerna kommer ifrån Heidi Swapp och finns på en del butiker i landet. Det som är lite speciellt med dessa är att det ligger flera stycken på ett ark. Det är alltså flera hjärtan i olika storlekar. Dessa kan man sen leka med både den positiva och den negativa masken...resultatet blir underbart läckert!

Här har jag skurit till ett papper i 15x15 cm. Det skall jag använda till ett kort.

Nu har jag valt ut den mask jag vill använda, lagt den på plats och skall nu distressa inuti masken.

När man lägger på distressfärg skall man göra det utifrån masken och in mot mitten av pappret i cirklande rörelser. Detta för att undvika starkare färgfläckar och få ett jämnt resultat.

När jag är nöjd med färgen, så lägger jag på den negativa masken där jag nyss kladdat...

....väljer ut några fina stämplar...

...och stämplar sen runtikring hjärtat, delvis ovanpå masken och delvis utanför den.

När jag sen tar bort masken ser det ut såhär. Visst blir det lite läckert!

Men jag är inte helt nöjd än. Utan jag lägger på de minsta maskerna och fyller i med mer av samma distressfärg.

Sen var jag nöjd med mitt hjärta och fortsatte med att göra färdigt kortet.

Dekorerade med ett par små rosor och stämplade en del av texten i hjärtat...

...och resten av texten hamnade under den rivna fliken med prickigt papper under.

Ja, såhär blev kortet i sin helhet. Vad tycker ni...? Visst blev det ett rätt läckert och roligt kort?

Det bästa med dessa masker, är att den största på arket, är stor nog att använda på en LO. Men det väntar jag med att visa tills på lördag. Då skall jag visa hur man kan leka med distresserna och maskerna i stort format!

Hi everyone...!

Today it is, once again, time for the Sunday Sketch at 365 Cards!

Best day of the week! = )

Pamela surpriced us this week with this new sponsor, DRS designs, that sent us some real rubberstamps! Weehoo!

For as much as I enjoy working with digistamps, I sure like to get my hands all inked up using the real stuff.

And my hands really got inked up today... ; )

Ok... the sketch then... Think this was a very wonderful sketch to play with...Thanks a lot Pamela!

Actually, I have already used it for three different cards. One I can show today, but the others will have to wait a few days... = )

Here´s my card for the sketch. I had soo much fun embossing and distressing!

Can you tell that I started out with plain white cardstock...? No...? But I did.

I embossed the candles with clear embossingpowder and then went over it all with distressink "Tea dye", "Vintage Photo" and "Walnut Stain". Now you know what I ment with the dirty and inked up hands, right?

Here´s a little close-up on the embossing. If you haven´t tried this technique yet, do it! It´s an easy way to get just the right background paper. And it´s fun too! = )

.: Sweet Tilda-card :.

Hi everyone!

I´m just in for a quick post.

I´ve made a new card today. Didn´t see that coming, did you? ; )

This one I made for a special friend. She needed a card for a baptism she will be attending this weekend. I hope she liked the card...I do belive she did. = ) Or did you not, Anne...?

I really like the papers! They´re from Maja Design. Do you see the sentiment right above Tilda..? It says " Ab imo pectore" and means " with all my heart" Soo sweet!
Tilda is coloured with distress inkpads and waterbrush... my favourite way! And I layered both papers and image to add some dimension to the card.



Actually... I also combined that job with som challenges...So I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Hello...!

Surprice! I´m here.. posting a new card...and it´s not even Sunday today! ; )
I know, I´m not the most regular blogger, but I have my resons for that. And they are five... ; )
Did you know that I have five kids...? Well, I do. I have three boys and two girl. All five are under the age of 11 and they make sure I have enough to fill my days with....

But, today I managed to sneek off to my room. I had found this lovely sketch over at OCC. I just had to give it a try!

And here´s what I came up with. The card itself is quite tiny... only 10x10 cm. The sweet little kitten is a digi from Sliekje Stamps . She´s soo sweet, don´t you think?

.: Wink Wink Ink and Sunday Sketch:.

Hi, and welcome to another Sunday!

Hope you have had a great weekend so far.

Today it´s time for Super Sketchy Sunday at 365 Cards. Wee-hoo!!

At first, I thought this was a tough sketch, considering the digi I had to play with. But it didn´t take long before I had come up with an idea!... that, of course, involved twisting and turning the sketch a little ; )
And here´s the outcome!

I just looove that sweet little pony! Coloured with distress inkpads and waterbrush.

The sentiment goes "Hugs!". I think she looks just like she wants to say that, don´t you?

I just had to add a little glossy accent to her mane and tail. Think she looks like a real girly girl ; )

.: I´m a little behind :.

Yes, you could say that.... I sure am a little behind on posting my Sunday card for 365 Cards.
But I guess better late then never, right?

Soo. let´s get down to the sketch, provided by fabulous Pam.

As usual, I had to just flip the sketch over... think it´s the rebel in me , haha.

This sketch made me think of a snowman... and guess what? That´s what it turned out to be on my card * LOL *

The sweet snowman and the pattern paper are all from the same design sheet. I just cut the snowman out and then used the rest of the paper for the background. Love it when the papers are doublesided!

Here´s what the card looks like when standing up. Love that folding! Found the template for the folding over at Bombshell Stamps.


And a little close-up on the banner... I stamped the banner onto the same paper and then cut it out carefully. I was thrilled to see that it fit so well with the snowman... like a glove!

Well anyway... this has been one busy week for me. That´s why I´m so late posting this.
But I guess that´s life when you´re a mother of five, right? = )
