~~ Glad Påsk! ~~

Hej allesammans ... och glad påsk på er!
Hoppas att ni har en härligt helg med mycket ledig tid framför er. Tid som ni kan använda till att scrappa kanske... ; )

Själv är jag bara såå laddad med ny energi efter en supertrevlig och hektisk helg i Stockholm.Vilken helg, säger jag bara!!! Denna scrapträff är verkligen toppen!
Så många trevliga möten, massor av härlig inspiration och framförallt... så mycket härlig skaparglädje!
Vill passa på att tacka er alla som kom för att ni gjorde träffen till den lyckade fullträff som det blev. Ingen nämd och ingen glömd...

Idag ( eller kväll .... ) tänkte jag visa upp en liten söt ask man kan använda att ge bort lite godis i nu till påsk. Hittade förlagan på mataffären... tror det var Posten som tillhandahöll så generöst, och jag var inte sen med att se vilken dyrgrip det var som de delade ut, haha.

Det var bara hem och försiktigt plocka isär den så att jag kunde använda den som mall.... scrapskadad vadå?

Valde sen ut ett utav MajaDesigns nya , underbart vackra, papper och satte igång. Det var inte alls svårt när man hade en sån utmärkt mall!
Vek sen ihop asken på prov för att se så den gick att stänga. Sen var det dags att chalka och dekorera.... Stämplade med en av de urläckra stämplarna som Fia tagit hem . Dessa sålde tyvärr slut på träffen.... men vem vet... kanske söta Fia kan få hem fler av dem. De var verkligen eftertraktade!
Något mer som gick åt som smör i solskenet, var alla dessa läckra blingswirls ifrån Prima. De är bara såå mumsiga!
Här har jag valt att dela swirlen på flera mindre bitar för att den skulle passa in bättre.

Härliga blommor och blad är ju nästan ett måste när jag scrappar... ; ) Det är inte många gånger att alster lämnat min hand utan åtminstone någon liten blomma....
Här har jag använt både gardeniorna ( till superbra pris i butiken just nu! ), rosor, skelettblad och påskfjädrar. Tycker att det blir riktigt härlig effekt att använda fjädrar och riktigt passande nu till påsken oxå!

My creative chaos and more...

Hi everyone!

I´m just popping in for a quick update on my blog.
It´s been one crazy week for me! I´ve been working almost fulltime.. my husband is out of town and won´t be home until friday.
So, I´m all alone with the kids.... They are my little angels... with horns ; )

No, I´m just kidding. They truley are sweet, but sometimes they tend to go wild...especially right before bedtime!

Tonight I´m struggeling with some last-minute-work for this weekends big crop-party in Stockholm. But then I felt that I needed a short break..and.. here I am!
And before I go back to my work, I just wanna show you a couple of cards and a picture of my scrapdesk at the moment. I don´t have much room to be creative in... tomorrow, I´m gonna put the cards away, so I can have my scrapdesk back again = )

Here is an KAOS-award that I made. The letters KAOS is short for Kreativa Artister med Otrolig Skaparglädje, and means something like this... Artists with an Incredible Creative Joy.
Sound alot better in swedish I think, haha.

This handmade award is 10x15 cm and is given to one blogger that you really appreciate. You should have the word KAOS on it and write an explanation for why you give this award.
It´s a really nice idea, right?
I have made two Kaos-awards that I´m gonna send away soon... Who knows... It might end up at your house...!

Here is a simple and beautiful card that I made a couple of days ago. I just had forgotten to show it to you here.
I just love this masking technique. Gives a really nice effect, don´t you think?

Super Sketchy Sunday !

Hi everyone!
Yesterday, when I got home late in the evening, there was spring in the air! Almost all snow had melted during the day ..... *lovely*

Today... we have winter again! It´s been snowing almost the whole day and we have more than 20 centimetres of new snow... *yikes!*

But over att 365 Cards there´s springtime!
Pamela have a very challenging sketch for all of you to play with. So come on over and give it a go, girls! And here is what I came up with. It is my first take on an easel card. And it won´t be my last one... It was soo fun to make and very easy too.

Have you tried to make an easel card yet? If not, I hope that you will. Like I said....They are so easy to make and they feel a little special . So, have a go on that too!
Well.... now I´m gonna spend some time with my darling husband. I haven´t seen him since Wednesday...

Time flies...

Yes... time sure flies when you´re having a good time!
I just went in my romm to take a look at my papers and stuff... a couple of hours later, I tiptoe out of there... just not to wake the kids.
I must be crazy. In 4 hours ,I have to get up again to get the kids to school....

Well... let´s get down to business = )
Here´s a card that I made for both challenge day # 17 and 18 at 365 Cards.
Day 17 was about Twinchies. You should use and decorate a piece of cardstock that was 2x2 inches big.
The challenge for day 18 was Plentiful Papers. You should use at least three of the following patterns : Plaid, Paisley, Gingham, Houndstooth and Toile. .... I even used some dotted papers...

Maybe it ´s hard to see, but, I have used paisley-patterned paper to stamp my heart on and also for the border. Try click on the image to enlarge it.

This next card gave my some trouble..... ; )

I intended to make this card for both day 16 - Opposites Attract - at 365 Cards and for Just Us Girls #24 - All In A Flap.

Like I said... It gave me some trouble... but in the end it turned out quite ok!

Ohhh.... You wanna now what Opposites that Attract...? It is, of course, the fact that I have a little easter-chicken sitting in the blisstering snow....! I think it will look like this here in Sweden this easter. We still have plenty of snow left...

But now... I´m of to bed.

~~ Har testat att göra en ask ~~

Till mitt dt-inlägg idag, för Handarbeta, hade jag testat att vika en vacker ask.
Visst var det lite knepigt emellanåt.. men resultatet blev super! Helt klart värd besväret... = )
Jag har använt mig utav ett dubbelmönstrat papper ifrån MajaDesigns julserie. Just det här pappret heter Karamellstrut... läckert namn på ett läckert papper! Finns just nu på rea i butiken...

Asken är gjord i ett helt stycke och det går åt ett helt 12x12-ark.... + en bit OH-plast och lite dekorationer ; )

Jag valde att dekorera sparsamt. En bit spets för att ytterligare rama in fönstret, några söta gardenior och ett par skelettblad....

Men en sak jag inte kunde hålla mig ifrån var att chalka alla kanter med chestnut roan... det blir ju såå fint när man skitar ner lite på kanterna ; )

Såhär ser asken ut när man öppnar den. Det är en söt stängning på den här asken. Toppen ser nästan ut som en rosett tycker jag. Dessutom behövs ingenting för att hålla ihop asken... den låser sig själv! = )

Nu skall jag kila iväg... vill passa på att umgås en stund med maken.

Imorgon blir jag gräsänka och är själv med alla barnen.... nu är det iallafall "bara" 2 av dem som är sjuka. Men de har hög feber, hosta, snuva och ett fasligt grinigt humör......

Sunday sketch... a little to late = )

Hi everyone!

I´m back...!.... or, at least for a short update... ; )
It´s been really weird around our house the past week.

First I got a chance to work fulltime last week. It was great fun! I really enjoy working in a café.
To meet so much people... it sure puts a smile on my face!

Then, on Saturday, we had some friends over for a "Glitter and Glamour-party".
Oh my! All girls in fancy dresses and the men had put on their smokings! Can you picture that!
Me in a long, goldshimmering dress ...

But on Sunday we woke up to find out that 3 out of 5 kids were sick!.... *sigh*
Soooo.... yesterday and today, I spent a couple of hours on taking the kids to the doctor. The result...? 4 kids on antibiotics for ten days... and the 5:th kid will probably get antibiotics as well...!
So, now you know what I fill my days ( and nights too! ) with. Not so much time to be creative around here.... ; )


But, before I head back to my kids, I want to show you this Sunday Super Sketch at 365 Cards.
Pamela had made it easy for us this time! This was the same sketch as we had to use for our dt-application.
But you know me! Why go for the easy way...?
So I had to make another card using the same sketch = )
And here´s how it turned out.

I used brown Bazzill cardstock and folded it like a Z. Then dressed it with some beautiful Bo Bunny paper. To make even more pretty, I stamped some swirls around the corners.
The absolutely gorgeous vintage-tag is a pre-made tag that I bought a couple of weeks ago.
And I could cry my eyes out for not buing more than just one! How stupid can one get...? = )


The sentiment " Amor Vincit Omnia" means "Love conquers all".

Well, well.... I have to go... my kids need a little attention from me... I think it´s time for lunch and medication now...

~~ Super Sketchy Sunday and my first dt-card for 365 Cards! ~~

Weehoooo!

Today is my first time to show you a Super Sketchy Sunday-card as a dt for 365 Cards!

Yeehaw!

Pamela had put together a really fab sketch for us.
Although those "stitches" gave my some headace.....I´m practically allergic to needles, thread and sewing = )
Those of you, that know me , are well aware of the fact that I never touches needles and thread... ; )

And here is my take on the sketch.
I gave it a touch of vintage-style....used some pretty lace, flowers and a absolutely gorgeous vintage image that I printed out on glossy photopaper!

The latin sentiment " Ab imo pectore" mean "with all my heart".

~~ Day 4 - White Space-challenge ~~

I´m soon of to bed... yeah, I know...it´s late ...again. = )

But I really should go to bed this very minute...tomorrow I´m of to a scrapmeeting with my best friend - Suss.
It will be so nice! A whole day, filled with laugther, challenges and scrapbooking/cardmaking! I don´t think it can be any better!

But before I go, I´m just wanna show you my take on day 4-challenge at 365 Cards. It´s a white space-challenge, which I found very challenging and fun.
I kept it simple. = )

~~ Day 1 and 2 at 365 Cards ~~

It´s really late. My family has been sleeping for hours now... but not me...
This is my time of the day... my time to scrap and to be creative without getting distracted by my family.
But tonight I´ve been up a little too late.. I´m gonna have a hard time to get up tomorrow morning i think...

Soooo... I´m just gonna show you the cards that I made for the first two challenges over at 365 Cards. Then I´m of to bed!

The first challenge of the year was a colour scheme-challenge.
Dt Gloria had made such a fabulous card that I think it´s hard living up to that standard = )
But ok... here comes my take on the colour scheme-challenge.

The colours to use was teal, chocolat, white, red and craft. I think I got them all in there..

I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday . They are having a contest this monday, so go check it out! I´m entering with this card... = )

This next one´s for challenge #2 - Tuesday Trio. And you had to use at least one each of the following three items - Circle - Silver - Pearl

And once more I think I got them all on... ; )

And as you can see I´ve made a christmascard = )

Perhaps a non-traditional one... at least when it comes to the colours! White, green, beige, pink and silver. But I like it!

And now... I´m of to bed!

Hej allesammans!
Visst börjar det kännas trist med vinter, snö och kyla!
Jag bara går och längtar efter takdropp, milda vindar och fågelkvitter.... kan tom tänka mig ett lätt duggregn istället för den här vita *#%¤*"#....!

Nåja... i brist på bröd får man ta limpa, som min mor sa...

Idag tänker jag visa er några kort som jag skapat med enklaste tänkbara material. Nämligen cardstock,stämplar och distresser. ( Sen "råkade" det hamna lite fjädrar, blommor och blad på oxå... : ) Jag började med att ta vanliga post-it-lappar och riva lätt i kanten på den klistriga sidan. Sen fäste jag lapparna, med den klistriga och rivna sidan innåt,på ett vitt ark,så att jag fick en tom ruta mellan dem.
Sen jobbade jag in distressfärger, utifrån lapparna och in mot mitten. Började med den ljusaste färgen och tog sen en mörkare lite försiktigt närmast kanten.

När jag var nöjd med det, tog jag fram min underbara krackeleringsstämpel ifrån Crafty Individuals och stämplade i rutan.
Därefter gick jag lös med stjärnstämpeln.
Såå, då var det dags att ta bort post-it-lapparna! För att få en lite häftig look så stämplade jag texten till hälften i rutan och till hälften utanför.
Visst blir det coolt!
Därefter har jag på enklaste sätt monterat "min ruta" på en bit svart cardstock och därefter på kortbasen. Ser ni förresten att kortet är lila...? Hmmm...svår färg för mig att scrappa i. Men med svart och vitt som komplement så tycker jag att det funkar.

När jag ändå var ifarten, och lekte med distresserna, så tyckte jag att jag kunde klämma till med ytterligare ett kort i samma färger och stil = )

Men den här gången fick det bli ett gulligt pricke-hjärta och söt textstämpel.... som motvikt till rock-temat på förra ; )


Här har jag även fått god användning för de helt bedårande lila penséerna och lika fina skelettbladen. * mums*
Ett litet tips när det gäller penséerna... dra försiktigt bort mitten på blomman och använd vid sidan av. Dels så går det lättare att fästa blomman och dels så får man ytterligare dekorationsmaterial...

• Crafty Individuals krackeleringsstämpel ( nr 213 )

I´m so happy and thrilled! I still can´t quite belive it! Me... as a dt on a cardmakingteam! Never thought that day would come.
I guess I have to change the way I look at myself... as a scrapper ; ) I reckon I´m a cardmaker as well now..

Here is the card that I created for their DT-call.
I just love these colours put together! Pale orange, pink and a hint of red.... mmmm..lovely!
And for those of you that wonders... the butterfly is cut-out with my slice-machine = )

~~ Style and scraplift challenges + final Sunday sketch..~~

365 Cards has had a whole week with exciting challenges.
They challenged us to do a combined style and scraplift of their talented designteam.

First out , ( challenge #359 )was Gloria with a absolutely fabulous vintage card. I just love her style and how she has managed to arrange all the details on her card.
So, I thought it was a bit difficult to do her card justice... Well, here´s my card.
I scraplifted pretty much the whole concept.. the colours, the layout and choice of materials.
The sentiment on the ticket reads " Now and forever"
Thanks Gloria for excellent inspiration!

Next out was Audrey on challenge # 360. she has a very colourful and vibrant style. Very far from what I usually create. Don´t get me wrong... I love that style! I just find it difficult to create like that.
First of all, I´m not very good at colour my stamped images.... so, I don´t do that to often.... ; )
And second... I tend to choose softer colours ... and more embellishment = )

But this time I had great fun making a card in this style! I scraplifted the stripes, the stamped and cut-out image and the use of other stamps on the background.
By the way... I just love this cheeky girl! Isn´t she totally cool, or what?
Thank you Audrey, for giving me the courage to use this bold colours and to use my stamps!

Challenge #361 was Kristie´s. She has a classy and fresh style. She´ll never "over-do" her cards.
Once again, I had to struggle a little to take on that challenge.
But finally, it all came together...
Her card gave me the inspiration to make a more masculine card. I used bold blue combined with just white and a bit of yellow. This will be a card for a graduation.
So... what did I scraplift of Kristie then...?
Well... I lifted the framed sentiment, the scalloped border and her way of decorating her card with just one embellishment. I just changed her button for a bouquet of flowers = )
Thanks alot Kristie for great inspiration and the chance to go outside of my comfortzone.

Here comes my take on challenge #362. This time it was time for us to scraplift one of Amy´s playful cards! I have to say that I feel good inside when I see her cards. So joyful and outside the box!
Her style is to use strong colours, different patterns and embellishment that will put a smile on your face!
I felt that it was very much to live up to... but I gave it a try... See for yourself... Did I do ok?
I made my card in shape of an easteregg. I even included a feder for that extra touch, haha.
This card was so much fun to make and I´m sure that it won´t be the last time that I use this kind of colours and patterns... So, thank you Amy for pushing me to this!


For challenge #363, it was Sophie´s gorgeous card we had to lift.
Her style is clean and simple... quite the opposite from me...
I just had to have a go on this one...
I went for less-is-more and lifted the circle, the ribbon(...although I changed it for a piece of lace)
and the stamped sentiment.
I really like the way my card turned out. Clean and simple.... just like Sophie´s card.
So, thanks Sophie, for the chance to play around with this use of fewer embellishments. It was great fun!


Last, but not least, there was Vichy´s time to challenge us on day 364.
She loves the softer colours and flowers... Like I do... = )
So I thought this was going to be an easy challenge...HA! As if lifting her cute card could be easy... So much to live up to I think.
But it wouldn´t be me if I backed out on an challenge... So I dived right into the assignment.
I first thought of lifting the colours, but I soon changed my mind in favour of this pale beige paper with soft dots. It reminds me of summer and the soft sand on the beach = )
Instead, of lifting the colours, I lifted the use of ribbons, the stamped and coloured image on white, and of course...flowers ! I think my flowers are so cute!
Well Vicky... did I do ok on lifting your card? It sure was fun and I think I´ll have to start using up my ribbons now... Thanks for a great lift !


And today there was the final Super Sketchy Sunday #365. Today they reached day 365.... and tomorrow they will start a whole new year, full of fantastic challenges!

But I wanted to have a go on the last sketch... and here´s my take....
I put my punches to use. Both the retro-flowers and the threading water-punch. Lovely! I love my punches and just wish I had more to choose from... But I guess I have to settle with the ones I have....for now! = )



Well! It´s been quite a busy cardmaking weekend for me.... I made the last 3 cards today ... plus two more cards that are for a competition , so I can´t show them yet. Oh, I almost forgot...I also made 2 LO´s for the same competition.
The other cards, that I show here, were made last night... Like I said... quite a busy cardmaking weekend.

~~ Better late then never... = ) ~~

It has been a completely crazy week!
It started on sunday morning... my youngest son, Ivan, woke up with fever. And it was the same day as our family was going on a cruise to Åland.... So, what to do...? We brought plenty of medication with us and then we went on the cruise.
It was absolutely great! And Ivan seemed quite ok... but he didn´t want to eat..

We came back way past dinnertime on monday... just to find out that our water had frozen in the kitchen and in the laundryroom... and even the water for the upper toilet had frozen... brrrr!
So I took care of the children, unpacked our bags and fixed some quick dinner for the kids. Meanwhile, my husband struggled to fix the water situation.... and he did a very good job!

Less then one hour after coming home, my youngest daughter started acting sick. She, also, had gotten fever!
The next morning I called the doctor and got an appointment the same afternoon.
Both kids got antibiotics...

Since then there hasn´t been much sleep or time for scrapbooking or cardmaking. But I have managed to do a few cards at least *smiling happily* Do you wanna see...?
This is a card that I did for challenge #356 - Sophies sketch over at 365 Cards. I haven´t got the time to show it before. But better late than never, right?
It sure was a lovely sketch to follow!

And here is a close-up on that sparkly flower... = )

This next card is made for the challenge # 358 - Super Sketchy Sunday , at 365 Cards.

This was a really tough sketch! I had to let it lay in the back of my mind for a couple of days, before having a go at it.

I have to say that I´m really satisfied with the way it turned out!

I don´t usually use such bright colours and patterns... but in this case it worked !

The sentiment "grattis!" means congratulations!

The papers are from Daisy Bucket. Bright colours and gorgeous texture.

I´m lucky to have plenty papers left.... = )

~~ Några alster från cc´n ~~

Tänkte att jag skulle visa upp några till av de alster som jag gjorde förra helgen till cc´n hos Countryscrap.
De hade ju en hel del roliga tävlingar som jag ville testa på.

En av tävlingarna var att altra någonting i vintage-stil. Efter att ha klurat en stund på vad jag skulle altra, så bestämde jag mig för ett blockljus.
Det blev ett snabbt och enkelt verk... tog helt enkelt en spillbit ifrån ett notpapper och chalkade kanterna rejält. Sen knöt jag dit en vit spets, chalkade även den för att den skulle passa in bättre. Limmade fast några vackra blommor, virade lite brun floss slarvigt runt ljuset och fäste till sist två fina nålar genom knuten på spetsen. Klart! En liten närbild på dekorationerna.... nu står ljuset på ett ljusfat i mitt scraprum och har gott sällskap av ett vackert litet hjärta samt en söt ängel....

Det här kortet gjorde jag till den tävling där man skulle skapa ett alster helt monokromatiskt i bruna nyanser... vitt eller svart fick tillkomma som accentfärg.

Känner mig rätt nöjd med kortet. Trots avsaknaden av en titel eller textrad...

Sist ut är ett kort till vintage-tävlingen. Snabbscrappat om något!

Det här kortet OCH ett till kort ( ett runt kort i vintagestil ) gjorde jag på mindre än 20 minuter!! Det är snabbt även för att vara jag.... ; )

Papperna är från ljuvliga Graphic 45. Jag bara älskar deras papper! Såå, nu längtar jag tills min plånbok säger att det är ok att shoppa igen.... har syndat med några andra, ej scraprelaterade, inköp.... vackra klänningar!

Hmmmm... undrar jag... kanske skulle jag ta och leta reda på några bilder att visa upp...? Nåja, det får bli lite senare.

Nu skall jag slå in paket till söta Elsa, som har sitt 6-årskalas idag. Hela vår familj är bjuden till simhallen där hon skall fira. Det betyder att det är dags att leta reda på bikinin och packa allas badkläder... och mycket badkläder blir det med stor familj! ; )

Imorgon skall hela familjen ut på härlig kryssning. Vi skall åka tillsammans med två av våra goá grann-familjer. Det skall bli såå roligt! Hoppas bara att det inte blåser för hårt... vill helst slippa sjösjuka....!!

~~ Challenge # 354 and # 355 ~~

... I´m back!
Today it´s friday and for my family that means tacos for dinner. All the kids just love tacos!
And I think it´s nice to some familytraditions.! Even if it´s just having tacos for dinner every friday... ; )

Well, after the dinner we enter the livingroom and the sofa. Then we all sit down to watch a movie, and tonight it was " Up". The kids liked it...but I´m not sure. Parts of it were really funny and other parts were a bit scary... at least for my youngest kids...

But I promised to show you the other cards that I had made for the challenges over at 365 Cards.
First out is this "beauty in white".... This one I made for the challenge # 354 - Kristie´s sketch.
This card didn´t turn out the way I had planned ; )
One thing led to another and Voila! ...this is what I made!
Don´t get me wrong... I really love the way it turned out... it´s just not the way I had intended.
I´ll give you a little close-up on the flowers and the punched-out border.
I´ve made the flowers by myself using two sizes of the retroflower-punch and then layering them.
I used my MS- Doily Lace Punch to create the patterns on the tip of the flowerpetals.
Looks nice, don´t you think?


For this card, made for challenge #355, I have used some quite odd materials..... chickenwire and beer-cans!
I have punched out a circle from a beer-can and then embossed the sentiment and the edges.
I also embossed the edges of the card in two different colours ( silver and white/silver).
I used staples to attach the chickenwire and beer-can to the cardstock.

I think this card is pretty masculine... don´t you?

Quite different styles! ...I wonder if I have a style... = )
