Sunday card x 2... = )

Hi everyone!
Hope you all have had a fantastic weekend!
I have spent mine with family and dear friends. It has been one busy, but also very giving, weekend.

This week, on 365 Cards, Pamela gave us a really beautiful sketch to play with. We were free to work with what ever material we wanted. This is really fun, as you can stretch it a little bit further.. = )

Well.... over to see the sketch... nice, isn´t it?

...and here´s my take on it.
I kept it pretty clean and simple. Just stamped the sweet butterfly and the sentiment, used my brown pen to draw the butterfly´s flight, attached the white lace and then tied a little bow to the teal lace before adding it to the card. And that was it!
Didn´t take very long to make and yet I think it looks gorgeous!


As I sat here, to make this post, I suddenly realiced that I had so totally forgotten to post my last Sunday card! I´m embarrassed and don´t understand how I ever could have forgotten it...

...and here´s my take on it.
This week the whole team were sponsored by Digital Delights. We all got to choose one of our favorite images and then use it on our card. I picked this sweet little mermaid... Isn´t she adoreable?

...and a close-up on the mermaid... I used promarkers to colour her and then put some glossy accent on her tail. Perhaps it´s hard to see here, but it really looks like her tail is all wet and shiny.... = )

Then I tried some paper piecing for the first time... well..let´s put it this way... Think I need to practice on that a little bit more.. ; )

Soo...that was all I had to show at this time.. Hope you enjoyed it and, perhaps, even found some inspiration!
