Cybercroppat samt lite Scrapptorget-alster!

Hej allesammans!
Skall inte pladdra på så värst mycket idag, utan låta bilderna tala för sig själva. Följande LO har jag gjort till Designat's CC och deras tävling " Vintage med starka färger".
Det gällde att skapa ett alster i vintageanda men utan den så vanligen dämpade färgskalan. Istället gällde det att få till vintagekänslan i ett färgglatt alster.
Jag har lekt loss med lila akrylfärg och bubbelplast på en turkost mönstrad bakgrund. Lagt till lite utstansade bårder i klargult och sen ramat in med spets och en drös blommor och blad.
Mistade vita blommor för att passa in mer...de fick bli ljust turkosblå.
En vacker grind stämplade jag sen på ett gult papper och klippte ut innan jag sen täckte den med crackle accent och monterade på 3d-kuddar. bjuder på en radda närbilder för den som vill kika lite mer på detaljerna. ; )

Sen tänkte jag även passa på att visa lite bilder på det jag bloggar om på Scrapptorget idag. Läckra stämplar som Vilda Stamps så generöst sponsrat med. Tack för det Puck!

Först ut blev ett enkelt kort där både motivet och texten kommer ifrån Vilda Stamps.

Använde distresser och vattenpensel för att färglägga motivet...och texten är mistad med en ljust turkos blandning.

Nästa alster blev en LO. Tycker att textstämpeln passade så bra till foton på mina barn...de är ju mina ögonstenar i alla lägen!
Den här gången embossade jg den i turkost och lät bakgrunden vara vit. Blommorna var oxå vita från början, men med hjälp av egengjord mist av perfect pearl och distresser ( i ena flaskan fired brick och i andra blev det aged mahogany).

En rätt enkel och sparsmakad LO. Martha Stewart-punchen användes för att skapa bårderna upptill och nertill....i övrigt bara lite blommor och blad förrutom texten.

Behöver inte vara så komplicerat för att bli effektfullt.

Såå...nu är det bäst att jag rundar av här och beger mig till duschen. Strax iväg på festligheter nere i "byn". Skall bli trevligt!

Back on track...!

Yeah..!
I´m back on track again!
These last couple of weeks have been quite busy... Last Friday, on July the 1:st, I said goodby to my oldest son and sent him to Vancouver, Canada for a one month stay. He´s representing Sweden on a camp held by CISV ( Childrens International Summer Village ). He is only 11 years old and have never been abroad before...not even been on a plane!

So, I guess you can imagine the butterflies in my stomach before he left!

But that was a week ago, and I have seen some pictures of how much fun he´s having over there, so now I´m back on track again!! = )
And I really enjoyed taking on this weeks Sunday sketch at 365 Cards. So fun and versatile!

Quite colorful, right?! Not my usual choice of colors, but it was fun to go a bit "wild and crazy".

Sunday...glorious Sunday...wonderful Sunday...!
Today I´ve had a wonderful and very inspiring day!
Early this morning, Suss and I , jumped into the car and headed for a crop in Eskilstuna. We met some old friends...Maiden, Anna and Camilla...and some new ones! The day was filled with creativity, laughter and girls talk...!
Can´t say that I managed to be so very creative...only have three cards completed and one that needs a final touch....But I had fun, fun, FUN! = )

Unfortunatelly, I can´t show you the cards I made...have to take some pictures of them in daylight first. But it´ll come, I assure you. = )
But what I can show you, is the card that I made yesterday. The one that´s for the Sunday Sketch at 365 Cards. Interested...?
Ok, here we go...!

The flowers and butterflies are all images from DRS Designs. They have all sorts of lovely rubberstamps and these are soo, so pretty!
I´ll treat you with a close-up...

....and another one...where you can see how I added some dimension to the card, by bending the wings of the butterflies a bit. I also added some glitter glue to the centers of the flowers and on the wings of the butterflies.

Hi and hello..!
This has been a really tough week for me.
Last weekend, my darling grandmother passed away. Even though it was expected ( she would have celebrated her 95:th birthday next month ) in many ways, it was hard on me. She will be missed!

Anyway...life goes on, and so does our cardmaking challenges at 365 Cards. Today it´s time for another Super Sketchy Sunday! Wee-hooo!!
I simply love challenges...and sketch challenges in particular. But this week I had quite some trouble coming up with a card that I was pleased with. Finally, I ended up with this one...soo...enjoy!

First out - two close-up pics. Showing my handmade flowers and the digis from Whimsie Doodles, this weeks sponsor of 365 Cards.

And here´s a view of the entire card. I kept it quite simple..sticking to a few, but bold, colors and only some handmade flowers as decoration. It´s a bit masculine, don´t you think?..even with the flowers.

And, as you can see, I tilted the sketch a little to better suit my wishes. Guess it´s my "Inner Rebel" calling... ; )

Can you belive it???
It´s May the 1:st....already! Where did April go..?...or March?
I think spring came when I least expected it....but no complaints here, no.
I would love to have more of that lovely and sunny weather....and please, add some spare days as well. I could settle for a few extra days...never seem to have enought of time to do all I want or have to....

But...today, I´ve been crafty....I have made a card using the sketch from Super Sketchy Sunday at 365 Cards. Yaaay!! And what a inspiring sketch it is then! You are up for a good one, that I can tell you. = )
Well...without further delay...here´s my spin on the sketch. Enjoy!

Yepp! No square card this time! ; ) I love this soft and round shape. Kind of feminin, don´t you think?
The image is part of a larger rubberstamp from gorgeous hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I got this set of rubberstamps as a gift from Marie, the owner of hÄnglar & stÄnglar. Thank you Marie! That was so very kind of you! <3 And if I´m not mistaken, I belive this is not the last of hÄnglar & stÄnglar that you see on 365 Cards... * wink, wink*

Yes..it´s my birthday...my annual 27th birthday. Even thou my drivers licens tell differently... ; )

Hi everyone...and welcome to a sunday with a new sketch challenge at 365 Cards!

And it wouldn´t be a sketch challenge without a fun sketch, right? So, here´s the one to follow this week. = )

And here´s my take on the sketch...and of course, I´ve used some of SRM´s gorgerous stickers.

I thought about spring, birds singing and the return of the sun when I made this card.

I can´t wait until spring is finally here! Here, in Sweden, we´ve had snow and freezing cold since november 10th, and, at least I, have had enough winter for this time!

Soo...let´s bring on the sunshine and let there be spring!

I cut out a circle in the brown paper so the sweet little bird are seen thru that. Embellished with plenty of roses and leaves...

Some beautiful rub-ons in the upper corners...

..and some more roses in the bottom right corner.

Ok, I´m gonna keep it simple today. I have tons of things to do...but the most important thing is to hold a birthday party for my two oldest sons. They have their birthdays on december 18th and 19th, and they have agreed to postpone their party until today. We have rented the public bath house in Bålsta for two hours...soo,it´ll be fun! = )

Welcome to our "Inspiration Week" at 365 Cards.
One of the girls on the team - Manoli - came up with a great idea for us. Each of us got to pick one word that will mean something special for us this year...something to have as a guidance or a kind of goal this year.

I picked strength.

For us girls on the Sunday Sketch team, Pam came up with another one of her fabulous sketches. I really liked this one for it´s great possibilities and clean look. Thanks Pam!

And this is my take on it. Instead of a circle I used a pair of angelwings. I think that worked well with the sentiment I chose.

It reads"My strength is as the strength of ten, Because my heart is pure" ( Alfred Tennyson 1809-1892 )

Soo...why did I choose the word strenght?

There were plenty of good words I could have chosen, like Love, True or Best...but I chose strength.

Simply because I wish to have the strength to do the rigth thing in all situations.

The strenght to keep the smile on my face, even when it might be hard.

The strength to let my oldest son , Isak , go to Vancouver, Canada on an international childrens summer village, without me worrying all too much. ( might have to add that he´s only 11 years old, never have been abroad before and that he´s gonna be away for a whole month...gulp!)

Soo...you see there are quite a few reasons to pick that word. I have more reasons then that, but they are ones I like to keep to myself.

Ok..I guess you are now very curious about wich words the others picked. I´m not gonna stop you...soo, run off now and see for yourself.

Gott Nytt År!

Hoppas att ni hade en trevlig nyårskväll och att ni fick se lite fyrverkerier på himlen.

Vid det här laget är väl champagnen urdrucken och alla gästerna gett sig av.

Här nedan kommer jag att visa upp mina 10 favoritalster från det gångna året. Oh´boy...det var verkligen inte en lätt sak att välja ut!! Helst skulle jag ha velat välja ut mina 10 favvo-kort, mina 10 favvo-LO´s och mina 10 favvo-alter.... = ) Såå...utan inbördes rangordning...här kommer de 10 alster som jag är mest nöjd med under 2010. = )

Det här en altrad spånask som jag målat med akrylfärg och sen dekorerat frikostigt med minirosor, rosblad, vintagepapper och en söt fjäril...lite bling kunde jag ju inte motstå heller! = )

2.

En, av väldigt få, LO´s från det gångna året. Denna gillar jag massor.Har använt mig av mina älskade Mega-masker och distresser, samt öst på med spetsar och blommor.

3.

Ett av mina kort i mer romantisk stil. Gillar det lite spretiga utseendet med remsorna och alla blommorna...

4.

Det här kortet gjorde jag till en utmaning på 365 Cards. Det gällde att använda flera olika mönsterpapper ifrån olika tillverkare...en tuff utmaning! Men jag blev glatt överraskad av att det gick...

5.

Det här kortet får vara med för att det representerar en punkt då jag började ta ut svängarna mer med de skisser jag ställts inför. Att våga tolka fritt och att vrida och vända på skisserna tills jag hittat det som känns bra att jobba med.
Att det sen är ett av de första digi-stämplarna som jag färglade med distresser och penselpenna kan ju oxå räknas in...

6.

Det här kortet håller en plats på listan av den enkla anledningen att jag är sjukt nöjd med min färgläggning! Det blev sådär mjukt och milt som jag hade tänkt mig.

7.

Ahh...vilken udda LO för att vara jag! Det här är absolut inte min vanliga stil..tror aldrig att jag tidigare gjort en sådan här färgglad och "spretig" LO. Men jag är sjukt nöjd med den...mest för att jag verkligen kunde göra den... = )

Ett CAS kort. CAS betyder kort och gott Clean And Simple och det tycker jag nog att det här kortet är. Inga mängder med olika papper eller dekorationer, utan bilden i fokus och sen sparsamt dekorerat med stämplar och ett spetsband.
Ibland behöver man inte göra så mycket mer...

Ett av årets julkort måste ju med på listan, haha. Det här kortet gjorde jag med sponsormaterial ifrån Scraplagret samt en digistämpel ifrån KennyK. Älskar papprena och mina egengjorda julstjärnor....för att inte tala om den coola tomtemor...! ; )

Sist, men inte minst....årets nyårskort som jag avlämnade till värdparet igårkväll.
Älskar den här vikningen och att jag kunde kombinera det med en vanlig kortstomme för att få ett än mer speciellt kort.
Jag gjorde dessutom godispåsar med matchande "förpackning" till värdparets två barn. Mycket uppskattat!
